Contrast of Brick and Concrete
The area around Old Oak and Park Royal is being revitalized, with a focus on spacious, affordable housing. The first phase has seen the construction of 605 apartments and additional commercial spaces. The ground and first floors feature shared offices, shops, cafés, a community center, and a daycare. The brick facade is interrupted by cream-colored glassfibre reinforced concrete elements. The balcony railings are also clad with C-shaped formed parts, adding striking accents. Photos: Ditz Fejer
