Leo A. Guthart Hall for Innovation & Discovery
Hofstra University received a new state-of-the-art office building that was harmoniously integrated into the campus. To encourage interaction within the faculty, a connecting footbridge was added. The outer shell was clad with concrete skin panels in chrome and sahara. It was the non-combustible, durable and sustainable properties of the glassfibre reinforced concrete elements that convinced the architects. Photos: Ditz Fejer
