Stylishly combined glassfibre reinforced concrete products
The Eastside Quarter in Bexleyheath has been expanded with a new block. The new building complex accommodates 518 apartments as well as over 3,000 square meters of commercial space. The design subtly incorporates the architectural character of the surrounding area while also developing its own identity. The facade was designed to reflect contemporary trends while exuding elegant restraint. The building envelope was clad with over 2,600 square meters of Rieder elements. In addition to öko skin slats, concrete skin panels and formparts were used. U-shaped formed parts in ivory create sweeping accents along the balcony railings. Photos: Ditz Fejer
