Central, open, forward-thinking
The raiffeisen corner in St. Pölten consolidates all departments at a central location and incorporates a spacious self-service area into the modern branch. The architectural concept places the customer at the heart of the building, combining excellent service with clear, contemporary design. Beyond banking and advisory areas, the building includes a public restaurant and café, an event space, a co-working area and terraces on multiple levels. This hybrid-use building was awarded the Best Workspaces Award by Callwey in 2023.
Horizontal bands wrap around the facade, providing a striking contrast to the large glass surfaces, which are rhythmically divided by vertical pilasters. The combination of glass and glassfibre reinforced concrete creates a balanced interplay of openness and solidity, giving the facade a clear, rhythmic structure. Photos: Ditz Fejer
