Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus
The Schwartz Reisman Innovation Campus at the University of Toronto was designed as an inspiring hub for research and innovation, fostering intellectual exchange and providing space for world-class discoveries. The facade of the 13-storey building impresses with concrete skin elements in the colour "cotton" and a distinctive terrazzo grey-black texture. The combination of glassfibre reinforced concrete panels and expansive windows lends the building envelope a unique appearance. Inside the building, multi-storey winter gardens dissolve spatial boundaries and encourage chance encounters — ideal conditions for spontaneous discussions and fresh ideas. Flexible office and laboratory spaces, along with conference and event rooms, allow for dynamic adaptation to growing demands. Photos: Ditz Fejer
