Central, open, forward-looking
The Raiffeisen Corner in St. Pölten brings all departments together in a central location and integrates a generous self-service area into the modern branch. The architectural concept places the customer at the centre, combining optimal service with clear, contemporary design. In addition to banking and advisory areas, the building houses a public restaurant and café, an event space, a co-working area and terraces on multiple levels. This hybrid-use building was awarded the Best Workspaces Award by Callwey in 2023.
Horizontal bands wrap the facade, creating a striking contrast with the expansive glass surfaces, which are rhythmically divided by vertical pilasters. The combination of glass and glassfibre reinforced concrete produces a balanced interplay of openness and solidity, giving the facade a clear, rhythmic structure. Photos: Ditz Fejer
