Interior design
The Swiss private residence G17 was extended. The current green space on the roof was utilised perfectly to create as much living space as possible. This project by dade design created a uniform architecture using a small number of materials. The material focus of the renovation work was on glassfibre reinforced concrete, white cement, oak wood, glass and black matte metal. The material minimalism creates an oasis of calm in juxtaposition to the hectic everyday life of the city. The result was a perfect location for rest and relaxation. The panels were not just used for the building envelope, but also in the interior. Glassfibre reinforced concrete has a long tradition in interior design and furniture design. The unique concrete pieces impress with their genuine material character and simple elegance, and they are pleasant to the touch. Photos: Dade Design / Jens Ellensohn
